“THE RICH PLAN FOR THREE GENERATIONS, THE POOR PLAN FOR SATURDAY”
This is a saying that I suddenly remembered after interviewing a student who registered for my Coaching 101 program.
She shares:
“I have a family, a job and everything is gradually falling into a stable orbit in Vietnam. But really, deep down I still desire to go to America to be a doctor – which I did. cherished since college until now.
Sometimes in life, money and clothes limit your vision. I thought that today I have such a job, I will go to work, I will learn slowly step by step, then later I will become a private person or open my own clinic, and I will finally be able to build a comfortable life for myself and my family.
In general, if you work hard and put in the effort to plow and earn more money, sooner or later you will reach the point of having something to eat in Vietnam, instead of having to worry about running for every meal, life will be okay.
But since getting married, I can’t help but think about my future children.
If at this time, when I still have the opportunity and conditions to go to America to become a doctor and I succeed in this path, then my life and my family’s life will take a great leap forward.
Instead of having to work in Vietnam for 30-40 years, or even my whole life, now I go to America, finish my medical residency, focus on plowing for about 5-10 years, and then I have an extremely stable property and a secure position in American society.
Going to America to be a doctor you can easily become a millionaire with that salary. At that time, my wife will no longer have to work, I will let her stay home, take care of the family, and spend time for herself and her own interests. In Vietnam, I don’t know how many years I have to work to get a million dollars and such a life for my wife?
Besides, the most important thing is my children in the future. If they grow up in Vietnam now, the educational environment will be completely different from the educational conditions and development environment in America.
When he was born in America or he came to America when he was young, English will be his mother tongue. Then when he goes to school later, he will also have the conditions to integrate and absorb the essence of cultures, not only America but also many other civilized countries in the world from an early age.
I followed your Facebook and you guys have been successful with this path. Looking at everyone’s life now, I really like it.
I also hope that in the future my children and grandchildren will also enjoy the same life when their parents and grandparents moved to America.
I want to create a strong leverage for them. The leverage here is not just money, but also the living environment, waiting opportunities and many other aspects. Especially once I’m successful, my children will also have the same conditions to get American citizenship as yours, everything will be more convenient for them.
In America, the air is fresh, not much polluted, and the social culture and way of educating it are different. They teach children to think more openly and liberally, helping them develop their independence and creativity from a very early age. These are all things that in Vietnam, people have to spend billions of dong to study abroad to get.
Em saying these things is not to criticize life in Vietnam as not good, but if I live in America, there are things that I realize are different.
If you continue to live in Vietnam now, when you are middle-aged, even if you have the conditions and desire to send your children to study abroad or attend international schools, firstly, the tuition is high compared to the salary, secondly, it certainly cannot be compared to studying in the US since childhood.
Meanwhile, as I found out, if the children attend a government public school, tuition from kindergarten to grade 12 will be completely free, you do not need to pay any tuition, and then when you go to university, you will also receive a lot of support from the state.
>
That is something that has always really pained me in my heart.
When I saw the article and pictures of your son Henry winning first prize in the wrestling competition, winning over his American friends who were even bigger than him, I became even more determined to pursue this path.”
>
Listening to these shares, I really admire your vision and determination.
Indeed, in life, sweet fruits are few, and it is only for those who know how to try.
Many people have dreamed, even had the opportunity and taken action, but they did not dare to step out of their comfort zone to take the first steps and also did not persevere to go to the end.
But in another world, rich people will set goals and plan for the distant future, not only for themselves but also for future generations. They invest in education, assets and business opportunities that can bring sustainable benefits. From there, wealth is consolidated and continuously grows over many generations.
And you, how will you plan?
