1. Don’t take things personally
Don’t take everything as directed at you.
The boss’s answer is a bit curt?
Email a bit short?
No one smiles at you?
Don’t rush to think:
“Maybe they don’t like me…”
In the US, 90% of the reasons are simply:
👉 They are busy.
The culture here is very straight forward and fast.
No beating around the bush.
Not much emotional.
Many times… it has nothing to do with you.
👉 Less wandering thoughts = less fatigue
2. “You don’t need to be better, you just need to be more durable”
Lots of great people…
but disappeared midway.
Because tired.
Because of frustration.
Because I thought, “I guess I’m not suitable.”
While there are people who are more normal
but they didn’t give up
3 years later… they succeeded
In America:
👉 Perseverance is the most important
Not who is the fastest.
It’s about who stays the longest.
3. “Don’t wait until you’re ‘ready’ to do it”
A lot of people often think:
“Let me get better first.”
“Let’s get better at English.”
“Let’s prepare carefully.”
And then… the opportunity was gone.
Americans are the opposite.
When the opportunity comes, even though they are not ready, they still take it
Then slowly learn and improve
What’s wrong, correct it
Action creates confidence.
You don’t have to be confident before you act.
4. “Comparison is the fastest way to make yourself miserable”
Through America, you will always see:
people earn more
English speakers are better
People succeed faster
If you look at other people every day…
you will always find yourself losing.
But the truth is:
👉 Each person starts at a different starting line.
Especially in a country like America.
Run someone else’s race
is self-attack.
👉 Focus on running your own race
5. “Taking care of yourself is not a luxury, it is a survival”
Sleep 4–5 hours. Do it continuously. Prolonged stress. No friends. No rest. You think that’s “trying”.
But actually… it’s the fastest way to burn out
In America, this journey is a marathon. Not a sprint race.
➢ You don’t need to run fast.
➢ You need to run long and endurance
➢ If you want to go far, you must have enough strength
