DO THIS AND YOUR LIFE WILL BE MUCH HAPPIER!

Having worked in the medical industry for a long time and met quite a lot of people, coming from many different families, different living environments, and falling into many different situations, I wonder why some people can always be happy, while others are sad and gloomy.

1. STORY FROM MY PATIENT

I once talked to a patient who was over 80 years old, had just been diagnosed with lung cancer and was undergoing treatment. Every week I have to have the fluid drained from my lungs.

I asked how things are going. He said he was very glad that I had helped him detect the disease and help him treat it promptly. Luckily, your condition is gradually improving. In the past, I had to have my fluid drained 3 times a week, but now it’s only twice.

Again, he said, he has been given a full life by God, with the greatest asset being his children and grandchildren, so he is now quite satisfied.

Now I feel lucky to be sick without pain, and to have a wife who is always by my side to take care of me, and nurses and doctors to take care of the treatment. wholeheartedly. Overall, I feel very lucky! He smiled brightly as he spoke.

I am very happy for him because he still maintains optimism in life, even though he is fighting a very dangerous disease.

Is this optimism the key to happiness?

2. A STORY FROM MY TEACHER

Once, a teacher of mine said. If you remember this saying, you will be happier and more successful. This saying is “The good thing is … “ means “The good thing is … “

Any situation you encounter, say it yourself.
Indeed, in 2020, I said this sentence many times!

In early 2020, I signed up for a continuous training seminar (CME) of the industry, had arranged hotels and air tickets, but because of COVID-19, it was canceled. I was very sad, but I said to myself, the good thing is that because I didn’t go to the seminar, I had time to stay at home to take care of my pregnancy.

And then because of COVID-19, my clinic had to constantly change the way we work, causing everyone to have to try to quickly adapt and sometimes feel quite tired. I am no exception.

And I remembered the teacher’s words and said to myself, the good thing is that thanks to that, I became familiar with online medical examination and gained many new working skills.

At the end of 2019, I started making videos and created a Youtube channel, however In 2020, due to lack of time, it was interrupted. I also feel sad because things did not turn out as expected.

But I still say his words – the good thing is that because I don’t have time to do YouTube, I write more articles on Facebook and from there I get to know many friends on Facebook.

I must say, my teacher’s mantra is quite effective. In every situation that doesn’t go as I want, thanks to it, I can think more clearly, change the way I look at things, and have more motivation to move forward.

Only a few days left until the end of a tumultuous year 2020, I wish you will always find “The good thing is…” in life to always be happy and successful!

By the way, I also want to organize Organizing a small GIVEAWAY to welcome 2021, but I don’t know what to give you guys.
Please give me some suggestions!

Thank you.

Family Doctor in the U.S.

Years ago, when I sat down to write my application essay for the Bill Gates scholarship, I wrote about the dream of becoming a doctor who could help people across languages and cultures. That journey eventually led me to practice family medicine in the United States and to build The Phoenix Medical Academy — so students and immigrant families can find clearer guidance on studying medicine, residency, and life in America.
