SOME THINGS WOULD BE VERY DISTURBING TO SAY STRAIGHTLY, BUT I STILL WANT TO SAY IT

There are naked truths in life that we all know to be true, but never want to hear.

Not because it’s wrong. But because it touches the painful places that we always try to hide.

Sometimes, the very things that make us feel the most uncomfortable and uneasy are the awakening words we most need to hear to change.

So, if today I choose to speak a little frankly, tell a little truth… then I hope you understand that the purpose of this article is absolutely not to make anyone feel hurt.

It was born with only one mission: Reminding a few very simple rules of survival but are being accidentally forgotten by most people in the midst of the hustle and bustle of life.

1. The nature of struggling: The illusion of opportunity, possibility and time

Article 1: Most people don’t lack opportunities, they just give up too soon

Many people live and work by digging wells to find fresh water. They eagerly dug one meter in this position. Not seeing the water source appear, they were immediately discouraged and moved to another location. They continued to dig another meter, then let go and changed direction.

After a tiring and vicious cycle, they sat down and came to a bitter conclusion: “This life is unfair, it will never give you a chance.”

However, the actual truth is completely opposite. The underground water source is still there. The mistake is not because there is no water in the ground, but because your pickaxe never reaches the necessary depth to reach the source.

Article 2: Most people don’t lack ability, they lack discipline

A person’s natural talent is essentially just like a good seed. But a seed can never transform itself into a great old tree. To grow, it must be placed in good soil, provided with enough water, light, and most importantly, consistent and consistent care day after day.

Many people around us possess extremely wonderful seeds. But they failed completely because they did not have enough endurance to water it long enough.

Number 3: Most people aren’t really busy, they’re just addicted to distraction

If you bravely sit down and analyze and carefully review your own daily schedule, you will immediately see one truth:

  • Several hours spent mindlessly on the phone.
  • A few hours of letting your mind drift along with notifications on social networks.
  • A few hours of wasting energy on nameless trivial matters.

Then, we lie to ourselves with the familiar saying: “I’m so busy, I have absolutely no time.”

The fair truth is: Nature is always fair in dividing each person’s 24-hour time equally. The stratifying difference in fate lies in how each person chooses to spend that resource fund.

Article 4: Most people don’t fail because of lack of information, they fail because of inaction

We are fortunate to live in a digital era, where almost the entire vast treasure trove of human knowledge is miniaturized and fits inside a smartphone. But the paradox is that there are many people who just stop at the steps every day: Read through, watch videos, listen to podcasts, press the save button… and then let the file sit and rust and don’t do anything at all.

Be alert to understand that: Knowledge located on paper or in computer memory never has the power to change your life. Only practical action on the ground is the only thing that creates transformative power.

2. Internal barriers: The psychological game of beliefs, fears and financial thinking

Article 5: Most people don’t have anyone standing in their way, they’re just afraid of the discomfort of change

Each of us, when asked, possesses extremely good aspirations: We want our bodies to be healthier, we want our finances to be richer, and we want our professional skills to be better.

But when the system asks for a price, very few people are willing to accept stepping out of their comfort zone to: Wake up earlier, exercise discipline, diligently learn a new skill, or work hard and concentrate when people around them are choosing to rest and have fun.

Many people desire the results of discipline, but they absolutely refuse to pay the price of discipline.

Article 6: Most people don’t fail because others don’t believe in them, they fail because they don’t believe in themselves

Inner belief in one’s own value forms the solid foundation of a career building. Once the foundation underneath is weak and shaky, you will never have enough capacity to build that building higher.

Standing still doesn’t happen because you’re incompetent, but essentially because fear has stifled your mind, making you never have enough courage to step out and challenge your limits.

Article 7: Most people are not poor because of their starting point, they are poor because of their way of thinking

The nature of the rich-poor divide often does not lie in the starting line of assets, but it is shaped deep within the structure of thinking.

  • People with a poverty mindset will always be haunted by the defensive question: “How can I not lose money or suffer a loss?”
  • On the contrary, people who possess a rich mindset will always be motivated by the strategic attack question: “How can I create greater value for society?”

Two completely different approaches to questions will automatically lead to two different life destinies.

3. The operating rules of success and the fiercest truth in life

Article 8: Success rarely comes in a straight line, it comes exponentially

This process works exactly like a physics problem about the principle of boiling water. You put the kettle on the stove and start to turn on the heat. The water temperature will gradually shift from 30°C, 50°C, 70°C, then to 90°C.

During that long period of heat energy accumulation, from the outside, you will see that the water surface is completely calm, without any special phenomena occurring. Then suddenly, when the clock hand touches 100°C, the water will burst and boil.

The unfortunate paradox in real life is that many people decided to press the off button and give up the game right at the time the temperature was at 90°C.

Article 9: And this is the hardest thing to hear: Absolutely no one will come to save your life

There will never be a magical moment or a noble person automatically falls from the sky to help your life suddenly become better.

A person’s life only truly turns a new page, when and only when that person courageously stands up, looks straight into the mirror and makes the ultimate decision: “From today, I will definitely live a completely different life.”

And after that fateful day, they chose to silently and diligently perform small correct actions every day despite all the surrounding pressure. The actual truth in the world has proven: The person who achieves the glory of success in the end is often not the smartest or most outstanding person, but is always the person who possesses the most stubborn endurance, the person who resolutely refuses to give up.

Conclusion

If after reading all 9 things I frankly shared, you feel a little pain in your chest or a little uncomfortable in your mind, then I congratulate you: That is truly an extremely good sign.

Because the nature of truths is not created at all to comfort or make us feel comfortable and satisfied with reality. The noble mission of truth is to strike a powerful blow, waking us up from the stupor of procrastination.

Family Doctor in the U.S.

Years ago, when I sat down to write my application essay for the Bill Gates scholarship, I wrote about the dream of becoming a doctor who could help people across languages and cultures. That journey eventually led me to practice family medicine in the United States and to build The Phoenix Medical Academy — so students and immigrant families can find clearer guidance on studying medicine, residency, and life in America.
